Another warm muggy morning clings to the park as I make my way down long meadow. Sunshine yellow Fleabane line the path and spill out into the meadow. The branches of Blackthorn droop with the wait on plump dark purple slows berries. Below Willow Herb decorated with bright purple flowers towers of Red Bartsia that creeps along the edge of the path.

Heading through the woodland Brambles and Woody Nightshade creep over the tops of drystone walls. Amongst the branches of a Holm Oak a small Gold Crest hops amongst the branches. The twittering of Great Tits and Blue Tits floats on the warm breeze. Down below the bridge Chiffchaff flutters among the branches of a Sycamore. A Tree Creeper creeps its way up the trunk of the Sycamore. Butterflies flutter below, Speckled Brown and Small White.

A silent Kestrel soars past heading towards Durlston Bay. The sun breaks through the cloud cover illuminating the hazel brown of the Kestrel’s plumage as it passes ducking low and out of sight. Further down the path Ivy can be seen starting to come into flower, the clusters of white balls starting to unfurl.

A Peregrine Falcon soars past towards the light house while a Shag passes close to the water below. The calling of Herring Gulls fills the air as I head along the coast path.

Sat on the rock above the mile markers, Rest Harrow carpets the ground round the rock little pale flowers poking out. Wild Carrot is starting to go over and curl in on themselves. While I walk back to the Leaning Centre the sun desperately tries to break through the cloud cover.
