Durlston was soaked in a pseudo golden hour this morning. There were lots of loose flocks of finches and tits passing through the hedgerows of long-meadow, smith-field and taskers meadow.

The hedgerows and scrub were trying their best at adding some colour to the park; plump purple sloughs, rosy red hairs, and a spectrum of everything in between on the bramble.

Saxon field was busy this morning. Several Skylarks bursts from the longer tussocks of grass, 3 Tree Pipits perched in the taller trees and 30+ Meadow Pipits going about their birdy business.

A lonely Snipe was having a paddle in a puddle in Haysoms.

The gully was full of warblers this morning, Willows, Chiffchaffs, Garden, Whitethroat and Blackcap. The bird-ringers were able to add on more warbler species to the list, the Grasshopper Warbler.
