Join us in the Learning Centre for an evening talk exploring our beautiful county with Mary van Coller, author of Downstream Dorset, River Tales and Local History , illustrated with a slideshow of beautiful photographs.
Hear tales of historical events and of Dorset folk who have lived alongside the flowing rivers, included is the meaning of river names and place names. It’s a journey of discovery for all those who love Dorset.
Copies of Downstream Dorset will be available for purchase, 20% is donated to the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
