Join us in the Learning Centre for an evening talk from Nick Tomlinson (Dorset Bat Group) exploring what bats are, how they evolved and try and answer the question “why should we care?”
We will focus in on UK bats as we explore their lifestyles and how they live, thrive and survive, including showing how Durlston and the surrounding area is one of the most important areas for bats in the UK. We will then finish with a look at a few of the threats bats face and how people can learn more and get involved.
£3.50 per person and free for Friends of Durlston.
No need to book, just turn up on the night. If you're interested in more of our evening talks, we hold one on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm (excluding July, August and December).
