A windy morning with a light drizzle which eventually disappears as the morning brightens up. Heading along Long Meadow, the candles that cover a Horse Chestnut have now gone over and where once was white flowers are now swelling buds soon to be Conkers in the Autumn. The meadow the other side of the path is full of colour. Pale Flax sags under the wait of the recent rain, there small blue flowers heads closed in a defensive of the rain. In the shorter patches of turf Yellow Rattle and Red Clover pop up.
Into the woodland where the pitter patter of rainwater running off leaves and through the canopy above, now full of greenery, is a soothing sound to walk to. Along the woodchip path the Snowberry bush has sagged over the path with the wait of the water on its leaves. More branches also sag into the path with the newfound wait of the rain.
Robins pop out the bushes occasional to sign from the long edging further up the path, with the usually Great / Blue Tits calling from somewhere hidden in the canopy. The Rooks in the rookery by the shed are causing there usually chaos in the canopy there loud calls to and throw to each other filling the air.
Ramsons star like flowers are going over along the edge of the path, while Three Cornered Leeks are still in full bloom, though there stems and leaves are now al collapsed on the floor due to the rain. A sea of Wild Carrot is in full bloom towards the bottom of the woodland the lace lice flower heads merging.
Back up the coast path, where the wall between rest and admire and the dell had Herb Robert and Bracken growing out of the crevasses in the wall. The Herb Robert decorating the wall with its small delicate pink flowers.
