Started out in the bird hide to collect binoculars as forgot mine again, here a small pond surrounded by Brambles, Blackthorn and Hawthorn, birds spotted were a Great Tit, Wood Pigeon, Robin and Linnets fluttering above. I turn left towards Boys Brigade field, walking past Ant Hills, spotted was a Magpie, Goldfinch and Dunnock, as a Chaffinch was heard and in the distance one could hear a Song Thrush. The visibility was rather poor today, one just about seeing Old Harry Rocks.

I head into small copse, with a canopy of Scots Pine and I believe Sycamore, the scrub layer is full of Brambles, whilst the ground layer has Stinking Iris, Harts Tongue Fern, Soft-shield fern, Ground Ivy, Lords and Ladies, Nettles, Cleavers, and towards the end is Winter Heliotrope.

I decided to walk left and walk fast towards the lighthouse and cliffs, passing through Saxon Field and Lighthouse Field I get onto a tarmac path and onto the bridge there. Here around 8x Wood Pigeons spot me and fly off, I stop there for around 5 minutes spotted was a Great Tit, Blue Tit, Robin, and Wren, heard was a Song Thrush, Chaffinch, and in the close distance is a Pheasant.

I continued to walk down, and back up to the clifftop trail and slightly passed Tilly Whim where I stood and watched – here I spotted loads of Guillemots, Fulmars, Jackdaws, Herring Gulls, Feral Pigeons, as well as a Peregrine Falcon, seeming like it was looking around analysing it’s next feed – It went rather close to the guillemots cave and flying around a bit before heading away to rest and watch on the cliff edge.

Merlin App detected: Great Tit, Blue Tit, Dunnock, Goldfinch, Chaffinch, Oystercatcher (did not see or hear), Jay, Robin, Greenfinch, Jackdaw, Song Thrush, Black-headed Gull, and Long-tailed Duck (did not see or hear).
