Blue sky! Can you believe it! Though a beautiful red sky can be seen over Old Harry’s Rocks a possible sign that a storm is due later today. To accompany the beautiful sky no wind buffets the park this morning a beautiful calm morning, suspicious if you ask me.

Large buds adorn the tops of Horse Chestnut branches signs that spring will eventually come. A Robin sings its hart out from the tops of the tree branches for all to hear.

In the woodland Winter Heliotrope flowering stems like the edge of the path as I enter the woodland. Small white almost fluffy looking flowers adorn the tops of the stems. Further along the coast path a flash of a white bum gives away the location of a passing Roe Deer as it heads further down the slope. Below the coast path bridge a Goldcrest hop amongst the brambles, the gold “crest” catching the light and making it easy to identify.

Below the globe to Blue Tits make a dash from the cliff side of the path to the Tamarisk on the other side of the path. While two Great Black Backed Gulls soar silently past heading towards the light house. Below the observation point two Fulmars make elegant circles in and out of the cliffs edge. A Shag bobbing around on the now calm sea, quickly dives under the water disappearing.

Ten Guillemots bob around on the water in neatly organised row. On the ledge Guillemots chatter away to each other the sound of there chattering drifting up to the path on the light breeze. Back up the diagonal path where I spot a Great Tit singing from the top of a Gorse bush.
