As I pass a path of Black Thorn now laden with slows, the leaves rustle and a chirping noise comes from within. The Head of a soggy looking House Sparrow appears from within the bush, looks around before diving back into the bush.
The long grass in the long meadow now heavy with rainwater sags over the path while the branches above drip water on to my head as I pass underneath. I head along the wood chip path where along side Privet flowers are just starting to go over coating the floor below in tiny white petals. A rustling then the sound of feet making a hasty retreat alert me to a Deer somewhere in the trees just out of sight. I look up while walking under a Horse Chestnut to see a Blue Tit hanging on to the underside of a leaf gently swaying as it pecks tiny bugs of the leaf.
I walk back along the coast path and arrive at the Dell, down below the bridge Willow Herb, Buddleia, Hydrangeas (now looking happy after a good drink last night) and Fuchsia make a brilliant display of multiflowered flowers.
As I walk along the coast path, I dodge the Garden Snails racing across the path thanks to last nights rain. Old Mans Beard and Buddleia line the path with flowers and sweet scent. As I pass the globe, I hear the familiar screeching sound of a Peregrine Falcon calling. I head further along to the glass observation point and look back on myself to see two Peregrines perched on the edge of the cliff one calling continuously. Below on the water 15 Guillemots bob about on the water, while a Raven flies past patrolling the tops of the cliffs.
Looking back at the Guillemot cave now empty for a Great Black Backed Gull soars silently past. Up on the bottom mile marker a Raven calls out from the top while two more sit on the higher marker. Below the Raven on the bottom marker a damp looking Kestrel perches on a rung of the ladder.
