Walking through long meadow to the woodland, Swallows can be seen dancing over the meadow seemingly celebrating the end of there long journey. Three Cornered Leeks line the path down to the castle.

Down in the dell the call of a Chiffchaff rings out from someone where in a Holm Oak, its call echoed by a nearby neighbour. A Wren pops up from down in the Fuchsia bed by the castle to, sitting on the wall it sticks its little tail in the air to dealt out its song.

Heading down the steep path Goldfinch bob along in a row in the air over the path. Arriving at the glass observation point, I look down over the wall to see a Roe Deer doe grazing at the very edge of the cliff top. It spots me and runs off towards the dolphin hut, not before stopping to stare at me for a while.

On the cliff edges below two Fulmars can be seen snuggled by on a ledge, at one point them seem to have a slight disagreement but make up quickly. Further round seven Razorbills can be seen resting on various ledges towards the top of the cliff. One pair crowds a pair of Fulmars as they rest.

On the grass ledge above the wave cut platform a meeting of Great Black-backed Gulls seems to being held; five individuals all perched in a line as they gaze out to sea.

Up by the lighthouse Danish Scurvy Grass carpets the floor. Just above Bluebells and Sea Thrift have just started to burst into flower. Before passing through the gate to the bridge I spot a Stonechat standing proud on some scrub, while just below it a Whitethroat appears before quickly disappearing in the scrub.
