I walk along the path alongside long meadow Swallows zig zag everywhere over head while a two Magpies wonder about in the field. A Robin hops about a Hawthorn to the side of the path. I pass a Horse Chestnut which leaves have turned a beautiful golden colour. At the far end of the field I spot a Jay flying past and disappearing in to a Holm Oak.

I then head towards the castle along the coast path. As I get to a clearing in the trees, I can see the sun poking through a gap in the clouds over the sea. A Shag flies past heading towards Peveril Point. A Squirrel then runs past and up the Holm oak in front of me clutching an acorn in its tiny hands.

Further along the path I feel something land on my head, I look down to see an acorn has been dropped on me, as I look up, I spot the culprit a Squirrel. I walk down the steep path towards the cliff path, where I spot some Wasps buzzing around an Ivy in flower. The wind picks up at this moment causing one of the Wasps to get blown into my hair, where it then stings me on the head. At this point I’m starting to believe I have a target on my head this morning. With a sore head I then carry on watching some Jackdaws wonder around the top of the cliffs by the glass lookout point.

Further a long a Great Black Backed Gull swoops past heading towards the light house. I head up the slope past the mile markers, looking back briefly I spot a Peregrine Falcon swooping past the bottom mile marker. When I get to the top of the hill, I walk through to saxon field where I’m greeted by another Jay sat atop a Hawthorn and upon spotting me it flies off into a bush on the far side of the field. I look up to spot a Kestrel flying high above the field fighting the wind to try and hover in one spot.
