Waiting for a stone delivery by the walling centre I watch a Magpie wondering around inside the walled area looking for breakfast. It notices me and takes flight heading towards the lighthouse. When the stone has been delivered, I head off down the lighthouse road where I meet the same Magpie for earlier just through the gate sat on top of a large rock. It then takes flight and disappears this time.

It is a beautiful sunny morning with a moderate breeze causing the trees to sway slightly. I notice some Rose hips pocking out from with in a clump of Gorse. The rest shinney hips contrasting beautifully against the light green on the Gorse. I come of the path and head up to the top of the light house field where I notice some Hawthorn leaves starting to turn indicating the first sings of autumn. The leaves are starting to turn a deep red colour. Just next to the Hawthorn is a Wayfaring tree that is covered in purple berries quite a lot of which have been eaten by birds leaving the purple stems behind. A Crap Apple Tree is laden with apples, the weight of which is causing the branches to sag.

Heading through to the meadows I spot some Ivy creeping its way up a wall covered in flower buds ready to flower. A patch of gone over Wild Carrot hides beneath as singular plant still in flower, just poking out from the rest of the dead ones. Two Carin Crows take flight from the meadow to my left and fly off over towards the gully shouting about it the whole time. While two Swifts also swoop past me low to the ground looking for breakfast.

As I head back, I pass the cows most of whom are sat chewing up the last meal. As I am watching a crashing sound can be heard from a large patch of scrub to my right only for a calf to come crashing out of the scrub obviously pleased to be free of it.

I stop at hay rake quar to find and look at some Autumn Ladies Tresses. I manage to find five different plants in just the short time I spent looking before heading off. A couple more Swifts passed me as I walked back to the centre.
