Become a Corporate Adopter

Over the last few years, dramatic changes have been observed in the dolphins using the Dorset coast, and the support of local businesses is now urgently required to continue the work of the Dorset Marine Mammal Research Programme. One way in which your organisation can become involved with this vital research is through the 'Corporate Adopt the Dorset Dolphins' scheme.

As a corporate adopter your support will be promoted through the Durlston website, publicity materials and displays at Durlston Country Park, and you will be kept up to date with the latest news. There will also be the opportunity for your staff and their families to become involved with the project as personal adopters or volunteers. To welcome you as a corporate adopter you will receive a pack that includes: a personalised adoption certificate, information about the local dolphins and the work of the project, your first newsletter, plus a photo of your dolphin!

100% of the money raised through our adoption scheme goes towards the research of the Dorset Dolphins. Dolphins and Porpoises are protected by British and European law, but in order to develop effective protection guidelines, research is necessary to find out much more about the animals that inhabit Dorset's waters, and the pressures they face.

If you are interested in becoming a Corporate Adopter please fill in and print out the adoption form and send it with your cheque or postal order (for 50, made payable to Durlston Marine Project) to: Corporate Dolphin Adoption, Durlston Country Park, Swanage, Dorset BH19 2JL.

Alternatively, if you would further details about becoming a Corporate Adopter please contact Durlston Marine Project on: 01929 424443
